Peter Liu
 
Peter Liu is the initial founder and vice chairman of New Resource Bank, an innovative community bank in San Francisco that is setting a new standard in customer service while financing efficient and sustainable resources in its community. Peter currently serves on the Clean Technology Investment Advisory Boards of the California Public Employees Retirement System and the California Teachers’ Retirement System, respectively the largest and the 3rd largest pension funds in the United States. Peter holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Public Affairs from Princeton.

EcoTuesday is a forum for sustainable business leaders to come together to network, collaborate, and engage with one another in a structured environment. Each month EcoTuesday features opportunities for sustainable business leaders to network and learn about current issues from an innovative speaker and from one another. During the introduction circle, all participants share one sentence about their business and a passion or interest around sustainability, which provides participants an opportunity to learn about each other in order to focus their networking efforts for the rest of the evening.
